About Matching Gifts & Volunteer Service Grants
Matching Gifts and Volunteer Service Grants are employee benefits offered by employers.
Matching Gifts - conditional contribution given to an eligible charitable organization. It is a payment equivalent to the amount given by the employee’s donation to Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta.
Policy
Volunteer Service Grants - unrestricted grant made to an eligible charitable organization for which an employee has given their time and service to cause important to them. It is a payment based on the completion and verification of substantial volunteer hours within a calendar year (The minimal and maximum number of hours allowed are determined by each company).
Policy
Companies send payments quarterly, bi-annually or at the end of the calendar year. Matching gifts will be reflected on reports after the gift has been received.
We ask that you encourage your parents to ask their Human Resources department if their employer currently participate in these programs.
